As we prepare for Christmas, read this:
“Beware that your hearts do not become drowsy from carousing and drunkenness and the anxieties of daily life, and that day catch you by surprise like a trap.
For that day will assault everyone who lives on the face of the earth. Be vigilant at all times and pray that you have the strength to escape the tribulations that are imminent and to stand before the Son of Man.”
I love those lines of the scripture.
Are you vigilant and prepared for the lord’s coming?
Just like you shop for clothes, gifts, food stuffs, and eager to visit people, are you making some spiritual preparation for Christmas?
Do not be caught off guard.

When you feel overwhelmed,
Pause.
Then, think about the bigger picture. .
Do not feel trapped when you struggle or have doubts.
Pause.
Thank God for the gift of Life.
In all these, be grateful knowing it can open further doors. . .
Dear God, may we hear your voice. Open our hearts. May we be attentive to You🙏🏽

Do not choose a 9-2 job knowing you won’t be available on those times. Some of the jobs are very flexible but you need to understand your client demand.

Must haves
Computer: This is because most of the jobs are better done on laptop not phone.
Some tasks with timer cannot be completed on mobile devices.
For instance, when I did a task for a client using LinkedIn platform. I was surprised to know that a feature I needed to complete the task was only available on LinkedIn when accessed from a computer but not from a mobile device.
Data: You need steady internet connection to complete your projects. You do not want unnecessary delays in project delivery times.

I got to know about brachytherapy for the very first time last year.
Brachytherapy is a method of delivering radioactive treatment internally to a cancer site to maximize chances of cure.
Simply say, the introduction of treatment to the cancer in a person to increase cure rate.
It can be done alone or as a part of other treatment.
There are two types of Brachytherapy:
– High dose rate (HDR) : This can be done with the aid of a plastic Catheter inserted under general or spinal anaesthesia via the perineum to the prostate or through the vagina for delivering radioactive substances.
– Low dose rate (LDR): In this, a permanent implant is placed and only for prostate cancer.
Preparation
-Patient should be admitted a day before the surgery for enema administration
– Nil by mouth from midnight.
After care
– CT and MRI scans will be carried out. – Patient is nursed lying flat as the implant is in place. – Strong analgesics like morphine and the likes are administered. – Heads can be raised during feeding only.
Removal of catheter
– When removed, patient is monitored to ensure urine is passed freely prior to discharge.
I hope this gives you an idea of what brachytherapy is and what is involved.
On one occasion, the patient was very dependent on morphine and would scream in pain most of the time.
It is truly hard to see someone in pain all the time. However, I haven’t seen that much morphine given in a short while.
The Dr had to intervene and speak with the patient regarding so much morphine given and the risks. The patient still demanded for more.

At times, it is beneficial for one to spare time just to think about themselves.
It can be regarding lifestyle, relationship, work, passions or anything you deem important to you.
Desist from getting carried away by analysing peoples lifestyles, choices and their process.
Why they are this and should do XYZ.
Simply focus on your growth or development.
There ought to be something in you that you can take to another level or do differently.
Do not see others and say “God when” but you are not paying attention to yourself.
What plans do you have? What have you done so far?
You are your number one fan.
Love yourself.
Treat yourself right.
Endeavour to maximise all your God given talents.
Do not waste them.
Know what you can do at any given time and act on it.
Spare time and think about yourself.
You will spot the difference when you make it a habit.
